Are there specific times during the hiring process where workplace adjustment is recommended?

What kind of workplace adjustments does Amazon provide applicants?
All customer service jobs are on-site; there is no work-from-home option. Specific workplace adjustments support applicants, candidates and employees with disabilities or medical conditions to overcome work-related barriers and perform their jobs safely. Depending on the disability, these may include:
- Modified Work Schedule
- All PwD associates are hired on a reduced weekly schedule in line with local labor law:
- 7 working hours per day plus a 1-hour break.
- All roles operate on a rotational shift basis, including overnight shifts, based on business needs.
- Note: A part-time employment model is not currently supported in Egypt.
- Additional Breaks
- Adjusted Learning Curve
- Job Restructuring

What kind of transportation help is available?
Associates holding a government-issued disability card (blue card) are eligible for full two-way, door-to-door transportation. The same applies to associates with locomotive disabilities, regardless of card color, as long as the disability type is clearly stated on the card.
Associates with other types of disabilities who do not hold a blue card and do not have a locomotive disability are eligible for transportation only during night hours (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). In these cases, transportation is provided either for pick-up or drop-off, depending on shift start and end times.

I would like to request a non-medical workplace adjustment such as childcare, shift/schedule, and transportation. How do I do that?
In these cases, you should speak with your manager or local HR once you are hired.
Will asking for a workplace adjustment keep me from getting a job?
Absolutely not! Amazon will consider your qualifications and ability to perform the job, with the necessary and reasonable workplace adjustment that is feasible with our systems.
